1. Foundation and structural –
Basements, crawl spaces, posts, columns, wall, floor and other structural items.
2. Exterior –
Siding and trim, windows and doors, home Entrances, decks and balconies, other
3. Interior condition of rooms in the home –
Door, window, floors and ceilings, walls, stairs and other interior components.
4. Plumbing system –
Water piping in the home and hot water heater, sinks and faucets, visible drain
waste and vent, piping and other plumbing items.
5. Roof and Drainage system –
Shingles, flashings, chimneys, attic, trim and gutters and other roof components.
6. Electrical system –
Service entry, service panel, switches and outlets, wiring and junction boxes,
grounding system, and other electrical items.
7. Home Heating and cooling system –
Furnace, ductwork, central air conditioner, fireplace, and any other HVAC items.
8. Garage and driveway –
Pathway and walkways around the home.
We also provide following service:
1. Radon Testing –
We are NJ licensed radon technologists. We can perform a screening test for Radon gas levels in the home according to the protocols and standards of the NJ Dept. of Environmental Protection. The radon test is not part of the home inspection as defined by the regulations of the state of New Jersey.
2. Wood Destroying Insect Inspection –
Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) Inspections is recommended when you buy a home. This inspection will be done by a licensed pest control firm specializing in wood destroying insect infestation and treatment. The wood destroying insect inspection is not part of the home inspection as defined by the regulations of the state of New Jersey.
